Taungthman village through the minds of young children
From observing those photos by the imagination of the school children, we notice that the mind of the school children about thaungthaman village. Before the university students started teaching in there, those of school children did not remember about the cultural heritage of Taungthaman village even though they live in taungthaman village which fills with noticeable monuments of Myanmar since the Konbaung period (1783–1821 and 1842–1859). However, their attachment on the village can be seen clearly after my students taught and discussed with them.
So, HaB’s focusing on the community engagement program impacts on my course’s pedagogy, more interests of university students in teaching to the school children, and finally the imagination of the school children.
