Yen Chun Chen
I hold a Japanese degree from Tamkang University, and now pursuing my Master's degree in Museum Studies from Taipei National University of Arts. Before starting my master study, I was a select shop manager of craft and design products. Afterwards, I worked as a design curator of play design hotel, wrote bilingual articles, curated an exhibition in the hotel.
Through these works and my studies in TNUA, I became interested in gaining more knowledge behind these design/craft products, also issues about how the knowledge production of intangible cultural can be worked together with communities and recorded in an attempt to ensure their continuation and aslo preservation for the future. On the other hand, I also started to write articles for magazine, Evoked, which endeavors to explore new possibilities of Taiwan’s traditional craft.
