Stories carry the weight of memory, feeling and motive. When deployed in multi-lingual, inter-cultural settings, storytelling can act as a method of in-context learning by approaching local elders, leaders, practitioners, activists, artists, writers, filmmakers, museums, libraries, radio, print and cyber media journalists and NGOs. Here, ASKING QUESTIONS, LISTENING & RECORDING are important.

In doing so, one is also able to learn one-word-at-a-time. By lifting words in daily conversations/media that are significant in their use (ie. appearing frequently, not at all, or being misused) , teachers and students can jointly participate in unravelling the multiple contexts of use/misuse/not-in-use of different words in any language and understand for themselves the power play underlying the meanings attributed to the words they have chosen to explore. Here, an INVESTIGATIVE MINDSET is needed.
