Beauty is Composite
Beauty is the quality present in a thing or person that gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to the mind, it can also be a combination of qualities, such as shape, colour, or form that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the sight.
Africa is beautiful and have all it takes to make it composite, conclusive and complete, however our insatiable test for foreign commodities has left the beautiful and novel, home grown efforts to be impelled to the background, without seeing the light day. Our economy had suffered backlashes as a result of unpatriotic desires that has driven it into unconsciousness. Our indigenous novel efforts need to come alive, be appreciated and patronized. We need to drive out the monster of unpatriotic desires for foreign goods and embrace our own. Local content initiative should take the center stage of discourse, Africans should have the realization that our own is beautiful, novel, imperishable and complete. We must be intentional and deliberate not to allow the masquerade of foreign goods to keep chasing us away from our own and making our economy to be in comatose?
Even while the art work is beautiful, the uncomplimentary loopholes tries to tarnish its beauty. However with resilience and deliberate efforts from different textile fabrics and flowers coming together as composite to play diverse roles channel towards beauty, the general judgment and label for the artwork is beauty not minding the dodges. Therefore, the artwork represents Africa and Africans, we must come together irrespective of our differences, colour, tribe, beliefs, religion to form a composite aimed at making Africa progressive and beautiful.
